What do we all have in common? we all like jelly and it turns into a belly.
Skinny, slim, or overweight we all have fats, yes skinny and slim have them too, cause fats are essential for your body, but when you are overweight and lead an unhealthy lifestyle, with plenty of processed food and it can become extremely harmful.
Not all fat are bad, but visceral fat caused by a different type of junk food, sugary, or products that contains hydrogenated fats or trans fats is your way to heart disease and diabetes and affects your health overall ( so make sure you read labels) choose wisely and go for monosaturated or polyunsaturated fat which can be found in food like olive, peanuts, avocados, flaxseed oil, walnuts just don't go ''Nuts' cause too much not necessarily is better..
Stay of refined carbs like white flour, sweets, sugar-sweetened beverages, alcohol it raises your blood sugar, and at the end makes your liver fatty and unwilling to work properly, and could be a cause of diabetes 2. choose carbohydrates that has plenty of fiber.
Beer, vodka or whisky is not a friend to you if you are really into losing weight (body fat), what it does it drains energy from you, so to compensate for the lack of energy you start to eat sugarily, sweets, processed food and you later just deal with consequences.
If you drink ask yourself why you drink? Maybe cause you are stressed, and it's your way to relieve that stress, but stress can make your body produce cortisol (stress hormone) which increase your appetite and store more abdominal fat when you consume your food.
simple water and green tea keeps you fresh and hydrated all day long, It contains and the antioxidant epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) and caffeine, both of which appears to boost metabolism.
How to make fat loss sustainable?-well you have to lift (first lift yourself from that couch), Say yes to weight training nobody tells you to kill yourself in that gym, but consistent weight lifting, resistance training is necessarily combined with cardio sessions. what does resistance weight lifting do? it helps your body to save your muscle mass from losing it, cause when you are dieting, you experience calory shortage, and your body uses your muscle as a source for energy(sound a bit cannibalistic isn't it?). So with the right diet and resistance training, you can avoid that.
And finally, consistency and discipline combined with good sleep is a key.
And remember :
it's not how many times you fall on that couch, it is how many times you get up.
